Finally Gone :-(
My mother’s old cedar chest is finally gone. Neither my sister, my dad nor my aunt had room for it, nor the desire to keep it enough to put it in storage, so it ended up in ‘storage’ at my house. We decided long ago that we didn’t really want it, and I tried several prices on Craig’s list with few bites. The one person who came saw it and decided it was taller than she expected.
Finally gave in and put it on Craig’s list for free. Within 15 minutes or so, I pulled it again, as I already had 2 calls from people wanting it. The first to respond just left a little while ago with the cedar chest. Kinda sad to see it go, but someone who want’s it is getting it, and we are another small step towards downsizing to a manageable level.
